Chalet Sigismond - living area

Accommodation

Chalet Sigismond is a traditional alpine style four bedroom chalet located in the small hamlet of Saint Sigismond situated between Les Carroz and Samoens in the Haute Savoie. Able to accommodate ten adults comfortably, there is also scope for increased numbers when travelling with small children. (travel cots can be supplied).
Bedroom 1
Double bedroom with South facing balcony. There is ample storage to unpack even the largest of suit cases.
Bedroom 2
Double bedroom with mezzanine. The room makes for an excellent family room with two single beds on the mezzanine level. Again the storage space is sufficient for suit case explosions.
Bedroom 3
Arranged as a twin bedroom, it can be altered into a double, depending on the clients' preference.
Bedroom 4
Bedroom four is a loft conversion, arranged with two single beds and bunk beds, sleeping four. It is ideal for children, as the pitched roof entrance is not best designed for those over six feet tall. However, once in the room, at 6’2”, I can comfortably stand up.
Master bathroom
The master bathroom has a bath and integrated shower. Also within the room are the usual appliances: WC, basin and heated towel rail.
Bathroom 2
The second bathroom has a shower, WC and basin.
Kitchen
Within the chalet, the kitchen is seen as an important and integral living space. The dining table can comfortably seat ten adults, whilst still offering ample preparation space for catering.
Living room

This is a very comfortable and cosy room for relaxing. The wood burning fire ensures warmth is transfered through the room and the rest of the house. During the summer months the room offers direct access into the South West facing garden. With a small television, video and DVD player, we see this room as a focal point of any visit.

Garden

Over two levels, with a built in BBQ, the external space offers another dimension for socialising or dining in the warm summer evenings. On the upper level, there are swings to help keep younger children entertained. The garden is enclosed by a fence and gate at the driveway which prevents children exploring too far up the mountains! The drive way has parking available for two cars.

Basement
The property's basement is due to undergo renovation. We plan to design this space as a utility room, which will cater for the needs of an active family. Until the renovation is complete, access to the basement will not be possible.
